With Shmidt and Paret-Peintre filling out the podium, it's fair to say he wasn't challenged at all, but you still have to deliver, and he really does seem like another Sagan.

Too bad for him that Tour of California will not take place.
It's not even the sprint that merits the Sagan comparison the most, it's the way he effortlessly surfs wheels in the front 10 of the peloton no matter whether it's a sprint finish or Roubaix.

True--he was never farther back than 5th for nearly the entire last Km

Visma should honestly think about taking Brennan to the Tour de France because arguably he's the best sprinter in the world right now. I'm sure Vinge can manage with 6 dedicated servants instead of 7. They can even put WvA on lead out duty in the sprints.

Normally, the Vuelta next year would make the most sense, but if he doesn't get tired from his first WT season and can get in similar shape later this year, perhaps the Vuelta is already an option this year. But I'd rather see him in Danmark Rundt and the Canadian classics afterwards.
