Lord Pogi had mercy today but not tomorrow. It could be solo this time.
That little head shake after crossing the line in 4th says it all. He wanted to win this one too. He really went for the sprint and kept the tension high until the very end. In the flash interview, he couldn’t even hide that bitter taste. Yes, stages like tomorrow are perfect for a solo move and they are a chance to get revenge for these tiny defeats, but honestly, they don't even give him a real buzz anymore. He can do them in his sleep.

Pogi seems happy to sit in with the Red Bull guys at the front of the peloton whilst his teammates are else where. Is this just so he and Roglic and chat in Slovenian or is there more afoot?!:)
Stage 4 - will this be Nairoman's chance or will Pogi just blow everyone away? Depends how bored or in need of testing out his climbing legs Pogi is, I suppose.

Stage 4 today:

All roads leads to Jaunpass...
Have a go, Nairoman, at this point there is nothing to lose and we are used to more misses than hits by now.
Withen will likely drop on the last ascent of the pass, but so will most others close by in the GC, so there is still an opportunity today methinks.

Enough playing around.
It's time to drop the hammer.

should be a good day for the break today, given how bad UAE looked so far - eight guys in front currently:

- Mollema
- Leonard
- August
- Schrettl
- Decomble
- Vervaeke
- Thalmann
- Faure Prost

the gap is only 1:15, so other may still make the jump on the climb. VPP in particular.

edit: Bora brought it down to 20s for Roglic to bridge
