Waterloo Sunrise said:South Americans won the climb comfortably, and the European climbing contingent is at least as strong as the TT lot, so unless a South American wins the TT comfortably, this really isn't showing anything relative to the road stages and after differential preparation is allowed for, shows they're stronger climbers than TTers so far.
Looks like the camera is showing some great South-South Americans legs besides the riders'. LOL. Nice curves and moves on the podiumRyo Hazuki said:south-south americans(in this case argentineans) showing what great itt level they have
argentineans are targeting this race. do i need to say more?Ryo Hazuki said:no they're not. they are far better in flat and itt and sprints than climbing in argentina, chile, brazil, uruguay. but in this case I only count argentina as they have a proper representation somewhat. the itt field is very good here imo. just look at the first 3 europeans.
also they didn't win the climb comfortably. diniz did, but the rest other than diaz weren't that good. I'm not counting colombia btw. the europeans just inmensely dissapointed, especially contador
