diaz and diniz to attack right from the bottom
they have to try everywhere. someone will definitely have a bad day, most likely tejay

and san luis will certainly send riders up front like messineo and giacinti

You don't miss an opportunity to bad mouth Nibali for the sake of it. Is this foreshadowing what your next avatar will be?

speaking the truth = badmouthing

well at least your ears are working properly.

The commentators on Radio Popular said Contador had won the first stage as Cavendish crossed the line.

Nono ,everybody will expect Alberto will try something today.
That's why, like in the Vuelta, Alberto will do nothing today and attack hard on an easy stage :D

actually some of use thought AC was going to attack in fuente de

Besides if he has good legs he'll attack, he can't wait

gotcha, this is how you translated in dutch. how do you translate 'overhyping colombians' then?

He doesn't overhype South-Americans. They're crushing JVDB in this race aren't they?

Thanks for proving a point. Even in January, in his bad shape, JVDB is better than 99% of the South-Americans in their good shape.

And he gets beaten by Kwiatkowski and Santambrogio, that's even more shameful than being crushed by a couple of S-Americans.

Further illustrates the point of the European climbers still being in build-up. After all, Contador also got beaten by them. ;) Nothing shameful about it, it's common sense not the be in your good shape this early if you want to build-up for the Tour de France.

The fact that JVDB can still be third in GC in this shape says a lot about the level of South-Americans.

Ps: Santambrogio can top ten in the Giro di Lombardia, which is harder than any stage we've had so far in San Luis. Nothing shameful about losing to him, he's a good rider. But I guess because you're not a fan of him he sucks.

I don't get the hate, VDB2 is doing really good.

I think no one of us thought he could do it this early, kuddos to him.

The problem is he can't win, or better yet: rather gets fourth in GC then trying to go for breakaway wins(like he did in 2009).

I don't think his early form is that much different from last year in the Volta ao Algarve.
