Oh and my avatar just got 10th. It's a pity that he'll lose at least +3min tomorrow.
Alberto man, that's pretty bad for your standards. Maybe he's really serious about taking it easy.

Another Gabrovski possibly?

gabrovski took like 3 minutes on a chasing group of favorites in one climb. although I wouldn't trust diniz, his results since his comeback have been very good. he was very young when he was suspended, braizlian cycling has cleaned up in a similar way as portugese cycling has in recent years. before that everyone in brazil was doped to the moon, in the new era many names are gone

Great start of the season so far, good TDU stage last night, San Luis even more entertaining than expected. :D

Hopefully it will continue in this way this season :)

I hope not, that would be so stupid. He can't become Andy v2.0.

I still do. I don't care for them finishing 4th or 5th. I much rather see more local teams and riders.

Yeah, they're probably all in better shape than other WT-teams too, with Lotto domination Down Under and in Gabon. Hansen in the second group on Corkscrew, Debusschere 4th here yesterday... My prediction is in two month's time they'll be riding backwards compared to now.

He won't. But if he really wants to make a double (either with the Giro or the Vuelta) he can't probably be in top shape so early. Still, I'm very disappointed :D

And Kwiatkowski... Very nice result. He had already climbed very well back in Poland with that 2nd place overall.

Let's not forget this is a huge highlight for the local guys and they are obviously going to be peaking whereas the top Euros couldn't be much less ar5ed, all about race rhythm for them this week.

I wouldn't panic, it's January for heavens sake. He's gone there maybe a couple of kilos heavy, riding into some early form. What happens in january is immaterial, if he's this bad come April, then maybe I'll worry!!

regardless of the results for the big names, what is exciting is seeing the riders going for explosive actions and give us some good cycling to watch. Think what it means for the likes of Diniz or Santambrogio to finish ahead of all the favorite today.. Even as they know the GC is not concluded. Hoy Viva Bazil

So am I... I mean it isn't like being in top form in the early season stopped him from doing well in bigger races before right.
