He won't. But if he really wants to make a double (either with the Giro or the Vuelta) he can't probably be in top shape so early. Still, I'm very disappointedLaFlorecita said:I hope not, that would be so stupid. He can't become Andy v2.0.

regardless of the results for the big names, what is exciting is seeing the riders going for explosive actions and give us some good cycling to watch. Think what it means for the likes of Diniz or Santambrogio to finish ahead of all the favorite today.. Even as they know the GC is not concluded. Pentacycle said:Yeah, they're probably all in better shape than other WT-teams too, with Lotto domination Down Under and in Gabon. Hansen in the second group on Corkscrew, Debusschere 4th here yesterday... My prediction is in two month's time they'll be riding backwards compared to now.

Siriuscat said:I wouldn't panic, it's January for heavens sake. He's gone there maybe a couple of kilos heavy, riding into some early form. What happens in january is immaterial, if he's this bad come April, then maybe I'll worry!!
LaFlorecita said:last year he had no form either and he still did well.
