South Americans destroyed Van den Broeck

Where is El Pisti?

JVDB destroying Contador.

It's hilarious, you guys were all claiming JVDB was going to do bad here and now he's doing decent and you're still hating on the guy.

I vividly remember you saying "Does JVDB race outside July?". The answer is the same as "Does Gesink crash outside July?". ;)

It's January lol, none of the European climbers are in good shape, while the South-Americans are in good shape. And even still, there's enough Europeans in the top ten.

It's true that I don't expect JVDB to get above 4th place in anything ever, so in that regard he is not disappointing.

The 4th place is his territory.
He didn't even have one podium spot in a stage/GC in 2012 iirc. :p

He podiumed Catalunya, though only on a technicality (same time as 13 others).

Forgot about that one. The point is, he's never even had a chance to win a race last year, even in Catalunya he was more than one minute away from winning it.

El Pisti missing the point, it's not about Gesink, don't change the subject :)

I only say that because you put on a big speech about JvdB being ahead of those south americans today. I was never mixed up in that entire discussion, I just find it hilarious that a day later he loses to them, after you having that whole discussion with ryo.

But you don't get that Pisti, do you? You're trapped in your own mind :D

Uh, actually he's still fourth in GC. With only 2 South Americans ahead of him.

I actually always said it's just January and that the European climbers are just using this as a prep race while the South-Americans are peaking for this. Like I said earlier, his shape is around the same as the Volta ao Algarve last year. As it should be. Come the Tour de France, we won't see any South-Americans.

I'm just mocking you guys because you said VDB2 wouldn't do anything here because he doesn't race outside July. Well, I answered that question for you with another question. ;)

Quintana will take care of him in the Tour.
