Could be a very difficult stage to control for the San Luis Somos Todos team.

I don't know who to back. I'm not entirely convinced by Diaz but at the same time the others impress me even less. So Diaz ftw (GC). Stage - I don't know.

Lotto_Belisol Because of a puncture in the beginning of the climb, @vdb_jurgen had to chase and could not finish in the first group

Hilarious.

....

i don't hate jvdb. like i said, i wasn't even part of the previous discussion, i just find it amusing that so many s-americans finish ahead of him on todays stage after yesterdays ryo/el pisti discussion

gosh you're annoying and beside the point...

I'm eager to see how Tejay can climb against the South Americans tomorrow. He has a real chance to win the overall GC for the first time in his career in a stage race.

Not the first time he's had this chance, he had the chance in the US Pro challenge last year. But lost time to Vande Velde on flagstaff, then wasn't able to win it back in the TT.

I would love to see Tejay win the overall here, but I doubt he can beat the South Americans on their own terrain.

I'm feeling the same way unfortunately. These guys are peaking for this race, it's one of the biggest races of the year for them.

He also had a good chance in the Tour of California last year but then blew on Mount Baldy
