Contador is fit and ready to put foot to a$$.

“My sensations were good and overall it’s positive.”
And he chased the peloton down alone after he punctured with 40k to go...
Dont think hes as fat as he says the dear berti![]()

Kwibus said:Let's face it. Contador doesn't really have to be in topform to ride well.
Simple as that really![]()

stage 3 kind of (see the thread which has already started) 4.8 km category 1 should be enough for climbers to show themselves properlyEl Pistolero said:And it's not like any decent cyclist is in top form here, so I wonder why people are only worrying about Contador's form here. It's not like he's going to face guys in peak form here. Just a small race. When do the mountains come up? Can't wait for the first mountains of the season![]()

Anyway, stages 3 and 5 should be decisive here.

will10 said:Well you have all the South Americans in top form which makes it interesting. Often plenty of Colombians, Argentinians and Chileans in the top 10 here. Remember Arriagaga won last year against a decent field of European based riders - Capecchi, Serpa, Basso, Vicioso, Soler, Baliani, Tondo (regardless of what shape they turned up in).
It's been 2.1 for three years and a European has only won once....![]()
Bye Bye Bicycle said:Arriagada risked it all last year... and lost it.
Edit: just saw that he's still listed as last year's winner... amazing.
Lupetto said:He only lost Vuelta Chile...
Argentinians, Chileans and Uruguayan riders race in top shape here. Lots of these riders lost minutes yesterday. Guys like Almonacid, Godoy or Garrido. Happens with the wind and rain.
