If you squint you can see Jesus 15 minutes further down the mountain.

Yeah, after working his ass off for Alberto. Jesus isn't the "epitome of average", he's the epitome of loyalty.

Hernandez ist the epitome of "getting a new contract year after year just for being the team leader's best buddy".

Which is not that bad of course, Prudencio Indurain made a living out of that.

Average and loyal arent mutually exclusive. That said Jesus is a useful and decent domestique.

I honestly think that it's possible to have a podium like this:

1. Nibali
2. Contador
3. Leipheimer

Leipheimer will do what it takes to follow Contador and keep GC, if Contador feels like he can't drop him Nibali might take advantage of the situation.

But... If Contador can't drop Levi, how's he going to pass him in the GC? *scratches head*

And Berti would let him?
Yeah that make sence, especially considering they don´t like eachother very much. If theres anybody in the peloton Contador would love to beat in a mountain sprint and prevent gets a victory, then its Nibi, you can be sure of that. ;)
Berti is a nice humble guy outside racing, but hes like a snake on a bike, and if you been bothering him he WILL make you suffer, so dont let it fool you. :p

Besides, I think Alberto at least wants to become second. So he has to pass Nibali, no way he'll let him go.

Of course he will, and I would be surprised if it´s not gonna happen.:)

This has vuelta profile written all over it, hence no attacks till 3k, and Levi limps his way to top podium step

hoerpi probably meant the stage podium.

Exactly, I was perhaps unclear on that point.

Of course he doesn't want to lose to Nibali. It's january and I know that Nibali looked heavy on the third stage but Contador wasn't climbing like normally either and Nibali can't be too off form after his showing in the TT yesterday.

Levi will only lose at most 30 seconds. No limp when you consider where rest of the field will be.

If I am wrong, then we can say limp.

At least this race has an ITT unlike some recent events.:D

this guevara must be something,he has the revolutionary spirit in him.that's his third one i think

rubiano is riding like a south-american,crazy tactics.in the stage to mirador del potrero when he arrived third,he actually was also attacking on the first climb, lots of energy spend there, still third.i think he can win this stage, launching from the favourites group on the final climb but why not do it 140 km into the stage?hey it's more fun like that.what a team androni will have in giro sweet mother of christ
