Ah sorry.

I hope Marcato is there in the final. The likes of Boonen and Haussler would need to have been shelled though.

This race a tradition of defeating poor looking profiles. Although a long downhill
after a Cat. 4 climb looks like a bunch sprint a sizeable break could make it work and fracture the field in the chase. Hope the run-in is technical.

Probably not with better stages to come.

Lol can't believe this. The peloton is stuck at a train crossing, but Rui Costa & Movistar went away!

This could get messy. Costa and what looks like his whole team made it through the barriers, along with a few others.

how much of a gap do they have?

Looks like Movistar have nearly two minutes! It will be hilarious if they actually try a TTT from here.

The original break looks like it may now have a very real shot. I'm guessing that their gap on the main bunch will be as much as 8:30.

Commisaires caught napping there. They should have stopped the peloton as a group, and also brought the break to a halt for the duration.

Moviestar should stop - actually they could get DQ'ed for riding across when the lights were on (which they were)...

Movistar and the others who are with them were riding through the red lights of the railway crossover (or whatever it is called in english), I think thats not allowed and they should be taken out of the race if the rules are followed, at least that what happened in paris roubaix once if i remember correctly.

They aren't showing the gap to the real peloton but to the Movistar group, unfortunately.

The Movistar group has been ordered to stop by the commissaires. They were riding and they are pretty sulky about being told to stop.

They are hardly riding. They are waiting. Right on the DQ.

OK maybe they were getting the message on the radio.
