Great win for Pozzovivo. Still too bad he narrowly missed out on the leader's jersey, but he's the best climber in the race and the obvious favorite to win on Tiefenbachferner tomorrow.

Or did he miss out on the jersey? He got it!

In some situations, unfortunately, it becomes obvious that Woods took up bike racing late in life.

Can Pozzovivo lose a one-man sprint?
When I saw Rui Costa and Izagirre 150 meters behind Pozzovivo at 400 meters from the finish line, I nearly fainted.

Happy for Costa. What a negative riding by him again.

What? He led the group over the Albula and into the line. He was in the front pulling more than he usually does. He certainly has the fame, but please, trash him when there's reason too.

In fact, he's not the rider he was from two seasons now. Does much more work and attacks more often. Might be why he doesn't win as often anymore.

Pozzovivo still needs to win tomorrow. Bonus seconds plus at least a 30 sec gap.

How much is he going to lose in the TT to Spilak, Caruso and Kruijswik? A lot.

Thought that was a great stage, really enjoyable ascent with lots of little stories amid the action and the descent was great fun too

very well deserved win

So happy for Pozzovivo. He should be able to gain more time tomorrow, and he certainly needs to.

Feel bad for Woods, but you have to be ruthless at this level. You have to push beyond what is comfortable when descending. He should have buried himself to stay with Potso.

Great win for Pozzo.

He definitely needs to win again on Tiefenbachferner and go somewhat early. Most of the climb is very hard but the last 3k are only 6%.

He'll lose at least a minute to Spilak in the time trail. Maybe two.

We were joking about Pozzovivo's (lack of) sprinting ability the other day, I was afraid he was going to lose again in a sprint with the trio quickly gaining time against him. Thankfully he stayed away for a fully deserved victory.

I wouldn't be so sure about Spilak gaining a minute against him in the ITT. Spilak has been really bad in ITTs for the last couple of seasons. In T-A Pozzovivo was faster than him on a flat course and he was faster also here in Suisse in the prologue. I think the strongest time trialist among the GC riders (apart from Izagirre) should be Caruso right now.

I'll love it when Rui wins the stage on Saturday and everyone who is speaking ill of him, will swallow those words, Rui is a pure class cyclist, and it is a pride for us Portuguese to have a cyclist like Rui.

Great win by Pozzo, one of my favorite riders!!

So let me understand this, by this forum opinion's a win on Friday by Rui Costa would be like Levi winning the TDS?

That was one brilliant win by Pozzo! :D
A funny thing, he basically rode away just as the Danish commentators had been talking about whether he was a bit apprehensive of descends after his crash in the Giro. Well, clearly not.

Also, the images of him on the podium... maybe they should hire some shorter podium girls, or just... have them not wear heels.

Nothing like that, i believe thar Rui could win tomorrow, but for me , the Saturday stage suits him better.
I wouldn't mind if hw win the next three stages abd GC at all.
