The funny thing is that Taramaae looks like the strongest. Ion looks good as well. Kruijswijk is going to crack soon I think.
Edit: Ion is cracking...

Taarame has absolutely decimated them

Spilak's huge recovery effort yesterday really paying dividends today

Wow! Everyone is going! Pozzo, Caruso, Izzagire, Kruijswik.... Wow!!!
Spilak, the weakest yesterday, is the best today and Teramae is ridiculously strong - looks like any further talk of today's stage may belong in The Clinic in the Katusha thread ;)

all giro finishers are dropping like dead flies. Does not look good for Quintana in the TDF

Always a big ask but the difference between trying big efforts with a week of recovery & training as opposed to a month is significant.

I want this climb in the 2018 tour

Something like this would never happen in the Tour.
It could be very boring in the Tour.

Agreed. The climbing has been great because there's nobody who has been overwhelmingly strong and riders have only had one strong domestique at best. This stage would have been a train in the tour.

I really really reaaaally love having guys like Spilak who target 1 week races on the tour. Really brings added value to the season
