You really trust these Watt-numbers? As long as the producers can't even get GPS-times right, there's no way in hell these numbers are anywhere close to correct.
Producers aren't responsible for the power values hah :D
It's Velon, whose transponders are mounted on the bikes and all they do is taking the values from riders' power meters (which are very accurate).

Of course if they show the power values on the screen they're like 5s average values, but in case of such steady efforts like today's it's ok and should be useful.

So you doubt in power meters, velon transpoders, or actually both devices? And what reasons you have for that?

I don't know what Velon is. All I know as that these Watt-numbers, speed, cadence etc. usually are way off. Though you do have a good point that in steady efforts, they might be much more useful as an average meassurement.
