Apart from the race itself, the route is really beautiful.
Not that you can expect anything different from Switzerland, but we've seen some incredible images through the race.
And Sunday should be spectacular as well.
I was having the same thought. The only downside to Switzerland is that it is more expensive than the neighbouring countries, so I would not do a biking trip there like I would in Italy or Austria for that matter. But beautiful, yes!

Well, with a decent planning, you can do it at reasonable price (of course taking into account "reasonable price" for Switzerland is different to the other countries 😀), or at least you could. And the experience is worthy.
But if I have to be honest, I kinda prefer Dolomites as well.

Doubt this is going to be a sprint if those 7 come together. Insanely strong group of riders for a "sprint stage".

Two Swiss riders in the break (Küng and Schmid), about time Switzerland saw some hope in this race.

89km to go

If that group of 11 riders had got to the leading four in the early part of the stage then the break would have sailef off to victory.

As they say in Küng's hometown: Where there's a Wil, there's a way. However he doesn't seem to be in great shape at the moment, and the break is being kept on a short leash anyway. But it is nice to see that Grégoire hasn't lost his fighting spirit after yesterday.

Schmid yet again is in the worng break away. Tomorrow is a better option as was the stage won by Simmons.

A rather lumpy parcourse for the last 40km, which only about three of us tuned into...

On that note today I learned you pronounce Chur as koor and not the guttural German "ch" sound, I think that's a good thing.
