Looking forward to the Greenedge tweets.

Very kind of Gerrans to let some nobody pick up a cheap result today.

Yep. Afraid they lost all respect I had for them after the Tour of the Med.

I was quite enjoying watching Simon Gerrans work himself over in the break. ;)

omg bmc lol..... im awaiting het volk. if nothing happens there for them I will go mad!

It's only February, Gilbert didn't look great in February in 2010 and 2011 either. He said before the race he won't waste any energy. If he can win without wasting energy he'd try, but he's not going to break a sweat here.

If I understand correctly he'll have trouble breaking his contract with Endura, in which case I can see him winning a lot of 2.1 stage races. A shame they didn't go Pro Conti this year else he'd be at Paris Nice for sure for starters...

I can see Endura getting in some more sponsorship and strengthening the squad to support him ;) Who is Pouldor's favourite for the next race :D

Nah, Endura can't compete with contract offers he will get from bigger teams and they know it. They've just got to enjoy the exposure he can give them with some wins this season (or however many months he stays for) and then wish him the best of luck for taking on Gilbert in 2013 ;)

Ant McCrossen on Twitter: 'Hope a co-sponsor steps in to support Enduras ambitions. The team is making headlines. The french here in Oman are impressed.'

They certainly deserve it!

Indeed just a shame virgin media dropped the ^%$£ out with 1 k to go

Same here:( First time I've really got to see JTL in action and was very very impressed. If Endura hold on to him much longer I will be surprised after that and the Med.

That would be great but would the SKY riders in the GB team ride for him ?

Without a doubt they would. I take it there are some decent climbs in the worlds this year?

It's only Tiernan-Locke though. The rest of the team is pretty poor.

Sorry also meant to add that to take on the post race interview live in French was also very commendable:)

You're in luck:

5th again. Absolutely devoed. Battery went flat with 10km to go, so no 53 and had to ride the last climb at 26% with only the 19 cog...

Endura will surely let someone buy out JTL's contract if the price is right... they're not going to get anything for him if they wait 6 months.

Fair point. Not bad for a lowly British Continental team though. They are just fighting above their weight at the moment.

Russ Downing should pick up some results.

JTL is a lucky boy.

If the weather & technology keep foiling those Australian world beaters, he could just have a good season.

Ah, so that's why he was shaking his head.

Maybe, JTL will crush them all as soon as Mende...
