Mont Faron will be too long and steep for Boom. So yes, good chance Montfort will take this.

Nice performances also from Jungels and LtD, bit of a surprise.

I guess I have lower expectations for Roman (he needs a nickname, but nothing is coming to mind at the moment). Top 15 in a TT this early in the season is a good start in my opinion.

He should do a time about the ones of Roche (great time for him) and Talansky (bad timing efforts).Perhaps the course, aside the last 2 km was too flat, I don't know.


Monfort and Boom sublimes as always. Two great superdomestiques. If Radioshack and Blanco have sponsor problems the likes of BMC, Movistar, Saxo, Sky and Astana have to go after them.

Pretty commanding win by Boom. I had expected the climb would be too much for him, but it turns out it only increased his advantage.

I agree. He is a great rider. Great domestique. Its just that he is completely underrated and he never gets to lead the team at a race. I want him to win this! And yeah ten dam is quite dangerous since he climbs really well. Radiosahck should mark him and be alert to his attack on mont feron.

Its about licences. now 6 circuits of 25K. well hope it are either good circuits or that the stage stays the same as planned.

I think Roche have more upside in 1 week races than Kreuziger.

Boom's ambition level is too high to be a support rider. Not sure about Monfort, current top 5 domestique, but does he want more moving forward?

Boom is no support rider. He's (co)leader in cobble races and also one-week races which contain ITT and no real climb (like eneco).
