Sutherland beat him at the intermediate (by 2 secs). Flens has the same time at that point. But the latter will be in trouble on that climb at the end.

Sutherland 34.08 so 25 sec slower then Peraud

Sutherland 2nd at the finish line, at 25 secs.

Peraud was overlooked a bit in the previews, but this race suits him to a tee.

I think this is more or less similar than P-N ITT last year, where he took 3rd behind Wigans and Westra

That TT was almost only climbing, this TT is flat for a big part and then a climb, so its not that similar. But Peraud is a good time trialist on the flat and on climbs.

Pellizotti with a reasonable intermediate time, 20 secs back to Paillot.

I don't know what they've done over at FDJ, but suddenly the whole team can time trial. Go Geniez.
