The sun did come out at the end of the day. Finally arrived at the banks of the river Rhône in Arles.

Peraud should take this stage like he did last year. Bentancur is more of an attacker, but should be able to set a hard pace for the overall victory.

Guys like Chava and Lulu have to attack before the final climb if they want to win.

Looking forward to the result a lot! Zoidl should normally be more of a climber than a TTer I think, so it will be intresting to see how well he does on the climbs, given how well he TT'd yesterday. Normally riders like Barguil, Betancur and Peraud are better climbers though.

Personally I'm also intrested in seeing how well Jungels climbs. He wasn't much of a climber in the espoirs or last year - though he has a few decent results in stages with some climbing. However, he has said he will be targeting stage races this year, so I'm assuming he's worked on his climbing a bit. He's got a big engine and he's not too heavy I guess, so I think at least in theory he could climb at a decent level. But whether that will work out, we will see it today I guess.

On Jungels , I fear the focus on hilly racing/GC has removed some power from the TT. We shall see.

I see Zoidl as an "allrounder", but his TT seems better now, so as you say perhaps his climbing will be better too. Perhaps we are looking at a Giro top 10 here.

It looks like he is getting into shape faster than I thought (knock on wood).

he's like freire except I hope he has a good bas.e or else he may get in form quickly but drop that form even quicker
