Peraud should take this stage like he did last year. Bentancur is more of an attacker, but should be able to set a hard pace for the overall victory.

Guys like Chava and Lulu have to attack before the final climb if they want to win.

Haha, I knew it. A versatile man like him can easily get into top 10 in most stage races.

Also expected more from Barguil.

Strong rides by Sepulveda, Peraud and Cummings! Looks like we're certainly going to see some more Sepulveda in the future.

He shouldn't.

Big mistake trying to convert in to a GC rider, when it's obvious he is much stronger on the cobbles.

Though with Wiggins becoming a GC rider, anything is possible these days.

Easy, guys. It's the first climb of the year. Let's maybe give him another shot.

Also just because he won the U23 P-R doesnt mean it's "obvious" that he should only focus on cobbles, in my humble opinion.

Don't let Jungels make that classical mistake of assuming he must be good at the cobbles because hey I did well as a junior.
It ruined a bunch of promising youngsters. Just because you have so much power that you can do well in short junior pavé races doesn't mean you're good at pavé. The proof of the pudding is in the pros.

Riding the pavé is a technique, you're either good at it or not. It's why Hayman kicks Hagen's *** even though Hagen has twice the engine. Time will tell what Jungels is good at.
The pro ranks are filled with guys who thought they should focus on pavé at first, then found out without the power advantage they had as juniors they were pack fodder.
