And Greipel first. That's 2/3 of a podium.

Mark_Renshaw

Andre Griepel wins stage one! Guess we are on the front now. I put him on sky's wheel 250m out and he done the rest.

The only thing exciting about this race is whether greipel will manage to win every single stage or not. My guess is that he will only get 5!

I think it is a bit to hilly for him. He has a by far the strongest team, but I think HTC should try to win the GC with riders like Pinotti or Martin.

The riders are OK its just the coarse is useless so its no wonder there's no coverage, plus most people in Britain will prefer watching repeats of Eastenders or god knows what and not live cycling.

I had a go at AFC because if he chooses to troll and derail a thread at least make it amusing but i realise that is difficult for this person. Its the same BS every time and its like annoying.

I was merely pointing out the awkward position of Britain's #1 cyclist as a result of his arch-rival winning.

Sorry for being cryptic...

its OK i got the wrong end of the stick, Anyway it looks just another turkey shoot for Greiple, but I dont think Cav will lose any sleep particularly- quite rightly.

Dekenkolb might prove a handfull in a year or so because he sounds quick. Who knows.

Just ignore the kid. I'm sure he will mature once he develops beyond adolescence.

2 Tour stages in one season >>>>>>>>> Greipel's season this year.

Not his fault HTC sends him to small races I guess(with the exception of the Giro).

Well see next year. I think Cav will have an unpleasant surprise when he has to start facing Greipel next year. Im not saying Cav win come out on top overall, but Greipel will win more than a few.

A few times this season Greipel has come back from a puncture or from doing domestique work to win a stage.

No more.

No more of this.

This time he was able to come back as the whole team waited for him, great work by HTC

Admittedly his 6-man team is probably better equipped to lead him to victory than Cav's 7-man Vuelta team.

Fab racing, great tough roads and loads of spectators.
Weather crap but managed the Moor and the finish. HTC pure class.
Drying out by watching good coverage by ITV4
Good racing by Mr Porte, Team Sky and all.

erm...no! Good joke!

I don't see how commenting on how I dislike or like a race derails the thread sublimit. if you go through the thread you will find other who made similar comments as me. Double standards buddy.
