Sanchez, although I don't think either of them are legit GC threats.
Sanchez will lose 3 minutes plus on Mount Baldy, if Gesink is at a somewhat decent level again he'll do better.

Indeed, and Gesink stated he is 'dying' for a good result according to that CN interview. He really wants to do well.

I hope for Gesink he can do well now the Dutch media aren't around and he can just ride without being under pressure by stupid reporters.

Weak field, in my opinion. It will probably be between Horner, Tommy D, TJVG, Gesink and depending on if he plans to do well, Nibali.

Nibali, Sagan not in California to ‘take a stroll’

http://velonews.competitor.com/2012/05/news/nibali-sagan-not-in-california-to-take-a-stroll_218094

"Though he was visibly suffering from an allergic reaction to Santa Rosa’s spring bloom, Nibali didn’t deny that Liquigas had come to the United States to win bike races."

"Nibali answered the question succinctly: “Any race we come to, we come to race,” he said. “We’re not here to take a stroll around California.”"

Seems Nibbles won't be at 100%, but would try for the win.
