The Tour of California is starting on Sunday, and there are rumours of a Floyd Landis "Honey Badger" party or some kind of press conference or something.

I figure we will have AToC stage by stage race threads over in the Pro Racing Forum, but the "Honey Badger" stuff deserves its own thread.
Here in the Clinic.

So, whats the latest scoop on Floyd and the AToC.
Will Floyd do a press conference? Fundraiser? TeleConference?
Anybody here invited?

Landis should have a press conference with Neil Brown at the ToC. He should dress in a honey badger suit. Landis should join the rent is too damn high party guy as a duet . Landis should bring copies of his nastygrams sent to the ToC officials. I don't know if lots of Landis content was the reason but The Daily Line was cancelled .
Great launchpad for Jenn Sterger, maybe Landis can get racers to send him the same type of photos that made Jenn a household name for a couple of months. I Wonder if Mr.Brown has found it is harder to get access to top level riders now that he has dedicated so much of his typing time to Landis issues

If Floyd shows up its a win/win for both Floyd and the ATofC, the media hype will be "Epic" :D

Would definitely eat into the Giro headlines, especially after today's stage (at the Giro).

I'd love to see some fill-ins for the Gray Manrod crew, CERA jersey's for sale :p he's make enough to fly first class to Switzerland to meet up with the UCI :eek:

Is the general consensus among Floyd haters that Floyd should just go away?

From what I read up-thread it appears that Polish is calling out Floyd? Do you guys think for half a second that Floyd is not going to show at the toc? He will show in an EPIC way. Just sit and stew on it. Hope the fall is not so far for some.

Couple things Glenn,

First, I have been a Floyd Fan for a while. Others here in the clinic used to mock him living on a couch blah blah - but are now "fans". Fair weather fans those guys bfd.

Second, I do expect Floyd to make some kind of appearance at the ToC.
And I do believe it warrants a Clinic thread. Floyd will announce things in his own way, and this is a thread to keep abreast of the situation.

Doing my best thehog impersonation....

My sources tell me that there are two Honey Badger gatherings - the second one is still secret, but the first one will be held on May 20, the day of the time trial. That meeting on May 20 at 7:30 a.m. will be at the dining room of the Madonna Inn in San Luis Obispo, a short drive from Solvang.

If you have never been to the Inn before, bring your sunglasses. My super secret sources tell me that retinal damage can be caused by the decor at the Inn.

That is all. I must now return to my super secret decoder.

This thread is a useless waste of bandwidth.

Not a surprise seeing who started it.

We don't need a thread on what, when and if Landis will hold a press conference during the ToC, or lame comparisons to honey badgers.

Some of you guys cannot be this bored. Or boring.
