Paul just made it sound like Tom Boonen almost had victory at Flanders and Roubaix this year, ha ha ha.

Phill saying how unjust it would be for Mick Rogers to have come around Dave Z for the 1st place yesterday, wtf?? Just because Dave Z did so much work in the final 5km.... but this is a race, and they are racing for bonus seconds, wth.

here's a shot of the early break on the steepest part of sierra road. about a half-hour into the race the 5-man break was about five minutes ahead of the bunch.

"The big climb they'll be doing up to Big Bear Lake on Friday is easily comparable to the climb of the great Alpe d'Huez in France."

Well if they're broadcasting from Modesto they are probably on Meth as Molesto is like the Meth capital of the World or something according to a Frontline show I saw once.

Don't know what you're talking about Moose, Phil just said "these boys are racing very very quickly right now" despite the fact the peloton is taking up the whole road and not strung out at all LOL. These two are going senile.

erm.. ive been asleep for an hour and they only seem to have done about 20k at this rate they arent going to finish for another three hours

At least we're getting a nice California history lesson. Now we know where all the city and county names come from. Patterson is the Apricot capital of the world. Awesome.

Sagan's not a sprinter. He has a good finish, but not good enough to take a field sprint from a normal-sized peloton.
