This year's PostNord Danmark Rundt is going to have three stages in Jutland and two on Zealand. A new feature is the TTT on stage 1. Stage 2 will be quite brutal - no less than 231 kilometers long and several 18%+ hills within the last 70 kilometers.

The strongest team competing seems to be Lotto Dstiny.

Loads of live TV coverage on DR - and other channels?

Here you go.

WorldTour ranking

do they still use the ASO rules for the TTT, as was announced earlier on? Going solo probably doesn't make much sense on a route like this, but someone like Cort could do a sprint in the end.

After winning gold on Saturday, attending the Olympic closing ceremony on Sunday, and returning home to Portugal for celebrations yesterday, Rui Oliveira today headed off towards Denmark with a 6am flight, btw. He missed his connection in Munich though, and is still on his way, now about to head off from Paris to Billund.

Rain could potentially ruin this TTT, with not all good teams starting close to eachother it could be very deciding. It's not the most technical time trial, but it will definitely have an effect.

Lots of rain expected throughout the day. Some thunderstorms even. From what the wheater report says now early starters (DSM and UNO X for example) could have the advantage compared to others, but it could look completely different tomorrow.

I think there is a bridge. I'm pretty sure there is a bridge. I hope there is a bridge.
Last time I bike trained in this region on vacation as a kid in this region on my granddad's homestead, not far from my mom's old playgrounds, just to the east, I'm pretty sure I didn't bring my snorkel with me.
And seems I survived. However, should add I was a vivid swimmer.
(there's a bridge)

Do someone have a profile of the hill in Haderslev? It's seems like an easy climb most sprinters can survive but Cecilie Uttrup Ludwig was able to get a 5 second gap on the reduced peloton.

It's not 100% safe to say that the race is completely decided after Vejle. At least not if the time gaps are small.

Finish-line is at the 1.3 km mark.
