What are your thoughts on the Amstel Gold Race and some of the Flanders Classics?
Btw, there's a parallel to this in golf. A golf course is derogatively called a Mickey Mouse course when it has gimmicky features that make it feel more like a casual or novelty experience than a proper championship-level course. Like if you design a golf course in the same way as a minigolf course.

The similar phenomenon in cycling is not debated as much. But if you made a race where the riders must first climb the Alpe d'Huez, then descend, and then go up again from the bottom and so forth, some might be critical.

Farewell sweet prince! Hope he shows the young guns how racing and post game media is being done the right way one last time.
Shame his nemesis Alaphilippe and Froome are dodging him for this final showdown.

Who tf is niklas Larson man. Mods should intervene with Danish inside jokes they've gone too far
Have you seen the ragtag band of mercenaries the Danes are fielding too, it's like a Fuglsang testimonial match, expecting Peter Schmeichel, Jamie Lannister from Game of Thrones and Queen Margrethe to be subbed on after stage 3 to shake some buckets on the roadside to raise some money for his retirement.

Grenke even seem to have got mixed up and sent out the wrong prodigious Dane, where is young Noah!!!

Fuglsang has been talking about how he hasn't trained that much after the Giro, so I kind of expected him to go full 2008 Giro Contador on everybody's behinds, but after he crashed earlier it's more likely to be a different version of Contador we'll be seeing.

It will be interesting to see how the peloton gets through the sharp turn at the bottom of Helligpedervej on the circuit. A stop with some of the riders at the back having to unclip will be acceptable, I guess - but only the first time. The inner turn is steeper than 20 percent.

I expect the peloton to split after the first ascent.

Quite obvious to me that Fuglsang really didn't care that much, but even a 100% Fuglsang wouldn't really stand a chance. He's way past it

Nice Flandrian course here, Søren Kragh is constantly just taking advantage of Mads being marked.
