You really get off on these (mostly) pointless discussions don't you?

Me the Dutchies and Pistolero have some banter every now in a while and its all in good humour. Thats why we participate on these forums. If it was all "Gap is 50 seconds, Soler falls, Contador wins," etc this forum would be nothing more than a substitute for the ticker.

Maybe one day youll lighten up and understand.

Oh.

Well its probably keeping my post count down by a good 100 posts then:)

I cant though. The last thing i saw before i left the thread was that Niemiec had done something or other, and i still have hope he performed. And i hear its a great race.

Whats the gist of it? Would it be wrong to assume Pisti is talking about Gilbert again:p

I'm very exited to see the emerging quality of Fabio Duarte-he's going to be the next Luis Herrera in Colombian cycling--class act and with the proper environment he could even fight for GT podium in years to come:)

Did Luis won the Vuelta or the Giro?

And surely a man to look out for in the future.

Vuelta and TDF Kom

But everyone knows Henao is the next big thing. Duarte is like Frank Schleck. The bait that wins an Alpe d huez, has a day in yellow, but then the prodigy comes in for the big time.

I think you've just explained the problem: not all of them can be super talented.

which prooves my point taht when riding long time for rabo u23 you have less progression margin because the tt3 was so professional already in everything taht riders were on their max almost. same with the danish gls team but they were even worse. ever wondered why guys like lund, pedersen, gudmund nielsen, vinther, steensen etc never broke through but guys like chris sorensen and fuglsang did?? same reason

By the way, are there bonus seconds at Murcia?

Hope so, because I'd hate to see Contador not win the overall classification tommorow. Let's hope he does a good time trial, it's been a while.

This one and the "Meat" joke are just as bad. We can not have this in every race.

Good for Duarte.

Ryo, was it Duarte that said when he was a very young fellow after just finishing winning a Youth race, "Ahora quiero ganar el Tour de Francia" and everybody was kind of who the F*** is this guy.LOL.

I honestly don't know, what race was that and what year?? :p

Seriously, Soler, learn to ride a goddamn bike.

if you think by now it has anything to do with that you have no idea. hti is clearly something psychological. hope he finds a good psychologiust or knows how to turn the tides. but I'm loosing faith.

Looking at the results, I'm impressed by the ride of Lars Petter Nordhaug in 7th. When I first saw the result I thought that it must have been a big group he finished in behind the top guys but he has in fact outclimbed a lot of very good riders. I think this is the strongest result he has had in his career considering the oposition.

Yes, I imagine he already knows how to ride a bike, but still, I bet it has a lot to do with poor handling skills regardless of how much the fear to crash has got into him.

He was 7th on the stage and 13th on GC since he lost time yesterday when the peloton split because of a crash.

Garmin sure sucked... they had Danielson, Dan Martin AND Vandevelde here. Danielson 26th at 2:30, Martin at 7 minutes, Vandevelde at 8 minutes...

soler is really weird. I've sene him nearly drop di luca in milano torino downhil of 2007, but he can also be really ****ty at them. the problem is less his handlign skills more insecurity and riding in a peloton and like I sayd when eh sees other guys crashing, selffulfilling prophecy.
