Stage 7 final stage - Wieliczka to Krakow 142.1 km, start 13.40 CET, TV from 13.30 CET. A few lumpy bits for the break to form, a couple of sprints, then some laps around Krakow. Just think, if Nys could TT a bit, this race would be long over with. As it is Vingegaard should complete the GC win, barring accidents, and the 2019 disaster will be just a bad memory.

Nyss is only 21 and did cyclocross during the Winter so it's not smart to think he's going to do a full road program.

I think the problem is the races he has done who have been a little low-quality. But granted, if a rider only starts the season in late April, there is a limit to what his season can look like, especially if you for some reason don't want to put him in a Grand Tour.

Well, Vingegaard hanged on for the GC and Kooij sneaked past Merlier at the death for the stage, so chapeau Visma, mission accomplished. Ineos must be glad that young Sheffield held on for 5th on GC - some good news for them.

well, Sheffield didn't come down again at least, but 5th must be pretty disappointing, given that the race was decided in a time trial, and Vingegaard didn't show much shape at all.

Both Kelderman as well as Onley would probably have beaten him without their crashes, but well... it's no coincidence that exactly those two were affected, of course.

But still a success for Magnus. Nobody could know how he‘d return from his ravine fall he survived and Mäder next to him didn’t.

Magnus is good and seems to have gotten good treatment and support. Important and basic for all future success.
