This is the stage on which the break stuck last year and won the overall. Don't know if the route is the same, or remember the circumstances under which that happened.

Looking at the constituents of the break none of them are a threat on GC, the highest up being Visconti and Eeckhout who finished in the group that lost 12.30 yesterday.

That was a very windy stage, I seem to remember.

Quinziato should be able to win solo or win in a sprint against these guys. Hopefully a win for my CQ team and my fav pro team BMC!

According to Servais Knaven there is 40km to go and the 5 riders in the break have a lead of 4 minutes.

Is there any real chase?

Wow.... Qatar is beautiful

Gonna be a great World Cup come 2022.
seriously, who is going to want to come to Qatar to watch the Soccer World Cup. It is a ****ing desert.

I say BMC have got to set a false tempo on the front of the peleton!

The gap update is a little slow it seems it just lowered the gap by a whole minute.

Break is coming back easily.

Why does the finish have to be smack-bang in the middle of my lunch break?

Dude
English, Dutch, German, Spanish or Brazilian fans would even go to the World Cup football if it was in Antartica. ;)

That being said, I don't think the break will make it today.

Lets hope BMC can get a leadout train going for Kristoff so he has a chance in the sprint! Yes BMC IS moving up!

If they push hard in the finish it might split today as well. Depending on how the road turns relative to the wind of course.

I'd rather Skil get a train going to lead out van Hummel! :)
