this MF has taken all my local KOMs with one ride :)

Sprint field will be quite good with Ackermann, Merlier and Groenewegen. I just wonder if any stage is really good for them.

It almost feels like some sort of punishment from his team for Groenewegen to be sent here straight after the Dauphine for another race with likely no true mass sprint opportunity that the quick guys will get to the line in contention for the win.

The advantage is that the teams without sprinters aren't that strong, the strong teams are the ones with sprinters more or less. So that should be to their advantage.

So the race is almost underway. This means that, after an almost 2-month break, the Boss is back! Having spent 1 month in mountain wilderness it's time to race with people for a change. The GC field is weakened: strong guys prefered to avoid Le Patron and chose an easier glory at other races. Therefore, most of his rivals are autograph-seeking Slovenians. Will Pogi decide to crush the field or to choose a more conservative approach (i.e. anything less than 3 stage victories) to fool JV and give chances to other guys? Time will tell.

Did Trinity dissapear from the startlist?

No Zana either. This might be one of the worst .Pro race on the calendar.

I guess Pogacar first, Hamilton 2nd? Then absolutely no idea.

No idea what happenned to those teams. Sometimes PCS is weird with the startlists.

As for the GC riders, don't discount Mohoric and Tratnik as well, they're in good form. As well as maybe Rosa and Fortunato, the climbers from Eolo Kometa. Also Mateo Sobrero was 3rd here last year.
