Unless it happened before the live stream he did not, a couple of Uno-X and one Euskaltel rider did a few kms ago though. They appear okay.

Gap has shrunk significantly and is continuing to shrink as they are climbing Volovljek, it's down to 3'03'' currently. (I enjoyed typing Volovljek, pronouncing it is a bit of a challenge though.)

Good crowds along the road, it's always nice to see people show up for a bike race when they could be doing something else on a weekend.

It looks overcast now as they are descending Volovljek, 40km to go. (I think Volovljek is my new fave Slovenian word.)

I got the gaps wrong., btw., there's a lone Euskaltel rider chasing and his gap is currently 3'12". The peloton is more like 4'30". Will the break make it? Stay tuned!
