Now I'm all back in memory lane I'm pretty sure my very first thread here was asking for the best climbs in the area of Torbole/Riva del Garda on holiday.I'm always really looking forward to this race. I absolutely love the region, I have spent some very good moments in places along the route, the racing is always fantastic and it's the preparation race for the highlight of the season. What more could you ask for.

I wasn't near specific enough that I wasn't even a reasonably trained recreational rider so all the suggest climbs were wayy too much for me.
It's within 50km from Scanuppia smhPunta Veleno or gtfo

Well, since the name change the race doesn't take place just in Trentino so the old name just doesn't fit anymore. I agree though that Tour of the Alps sounds super lame. The old race name, please.

RIP Tour de France
RIP Giro d'Italia
RIP Vuelta a España
Tells you a lot about the German language that an Austrian reads this and thinks "they gotta go with Giro delle Alpi then"Giro delle Alpi/Alpenrundfahrt had been a better name if they didn't wanted to refer to the exact region.

Any source about that?It looks like Buchmann will not start and go to train at altitude instead.
Any source about that?
He was scheduled for the race and I can't find any source that says anything to the contrary.
Ugh, it’s for that other thread, but I’m disliking the continuing pattern of folks passing up prep races to go “train” at altitude camps.Any source about that?
