At least in the small latersl valleys with no other roads, yes.I think there was an explanation a while back.
Something about them having to go along some of the major traffic routes, and people apparently want to get home from work...
Thanks, I have a vague slight memory of that.I think there was an explanation a while back.

Yeah, there’s a great article in The Athletic where he details his recovery. There’s also an interview with his physio etc. Seems that after they drained the fluid out of the knee he recovered pretty well. Although he did say that while he’s been training well he knows he’ll probably not be in top shape this week. So second in the first stage is an amazing result. All in all, he’s a very lucky boy because it was a pretty nasty crash that could have resulted in far worse injuries if not death.Suprised Pidcock was even there at the end, read an article saying his injuries are a 2 month off kind of thing
He also said after today's stage that this was his worst day ever on a bike, that there were no positives to take apart from the fact that he can only get better, that he felt as though it was full gas up every climb and that his second place didn't happen through anything else but following wheels as he had no sprint at all and there were no sprinters in the race.Yeah, there’s a great article in The Athletic where he details his recovery. Guys is Pidcock again not going for GC like he was doing in Catalunya?
Lots of beautiful background shots of the Alps!I missed the stage....72 riders on the same time as the winner? Did they forget to have an Alp along the way?
