Now it looks like Euskaltel have given up, and the boring TT rider contenders are bogarting the front of the péloton behind J-Rod's remaining men.

Thank christ for Kiserlovski, because all of a sudden a part way interesting race has broken out.

Stop looking behind you and just RIDE, Robert. You're the only hope we have now.

Just tuned in. So Kiserlovski has a 45" advantage on the main bunch? What happened? When did he attack?

Sky pushed on pace, caught break of the day on penultimate categorised climb, splintering went on in some biblical-level rain, people struggled to work out who was where, a 9-man break got away when things came back together, with Kiserlovski in it, so he burned up his domestique in the group and attacked on the Puerto de Asentzio. It's do or die for him, but everybody else is racing like a coward that wants to give this race to Tony Martin, so he's the only one who's really taken the bull by the horns and gone for it totally.

One of few times I'm hoping for a total Katusha fail
