It wasn't a flat prologue. It was an out and back that started with a climb and ended on a downhill.

This is a great climb, but really tough to do in the middle of summer unless you do it in the morning. Hot day here plus lots of smoke from the wildfires.

He's young but had some pretty nice results in the US domestic scene which triggered LottoNL

He's switched to Lotto NL this year from Rally cycling, so the previous years he was only doing the American races.
Also it's funny to see Teejay leading his own teammate up the climb instead of it being vice versa.

Well yeah, he has done pretty much nothing so far this year and I don't really pay attention to other races in USA other than Tour of Utah which is one of the best hipster races around
