why is there so little chatter about the Tour of Utah?

And how bout Mancebo...

I mean Francesco Mancebo Perez, who has had an interesting career, and won the Maillot Blanc in the 2000 Tour de France, was 3rd in the Vuelta and 4th in the Tour GC, not to mention the Spanish Road Title, and Stage 1 of the 2009 TOC. But I've never seen an interview with the guy or anything about him...what gives??

I bring this up because even in todays hard and fast stage he took 5 seconds out of the bunch and Leipheimer. He obviously is a fighter and wants everything he can get.

I also mention him because during the 2009 TOC Franke Andreu, while commenting on air (sorry can't remember who was responsible) described Mancebo as an "unknown". Funny...

And what about the rumor that a TOU stage winner only gets $150?

And what about NO LIVE COVERAGE! This is ridiculous, and particularly annoying given the good racing that apparently occurred today.

Why is this a stealth race? Just like just about any USA Cyling race, for that matter...

DeMaar and Crawford still in the lead by 2 minutes
10 riders in yellow jersey group. Lill Boswell mancebo Levi all there.

Levi and Mancebo were in the 3rd group coming up Wasatch Blvd, about 8k from the start of the last climb. It was easy to tell the guys in the first group were absolutely shattered. Louder looked very unhappy.

I'm interested to see where Burke Swindlehurst finished. He looked fairly comfortable in the 2nd group.

There were some pained faces there on Wasatch, and there were still a couple rollers to go before the final climb started.
