2nd place isn't quite tip top
heh, true :). But you don't get to where Andy is without working your *** off, making huge sacrifices, and wanting it badly, no matter how much natural talent you might have.

EDIT: whoops, sorry - didn't mean to derail the thread, forgot it was the transfers and rumours.

you seem to be doing an excellent job at that ;)

I know there has been at least 1 race this year where he tried to get a result but didn't finish in the top-10.

You should send him your advice that he should try harder since he doesn't know it himself.

like i said , riis has commented himself that Andy doesn't give it 100% I'n most races, but i guess a pc warrior as yourself would know more then the guy who has managed most of his career.

I suppose your right tho, the kid who has cone 2nd I'n no less the three tours is incapable of at least being amongst the high gc in other races.

The guy obviously doesn't need my advice, but it won't stop me voicing an opinion that i think he lacks dedication. But i forgot this forum was meant to be an advisor to the pro peloton. Must have missed the memo.

I think they should sign Pirazzi instead of Stortoni . Pirazzi is much more usefull .

Yeah, I like Pirazzi. In which race was it that he was constantly attacking multiple times each stage?

Riis on Fuglsang:

As long as he is under contract he ofc has no interest to us. But all know how (well) he would fit into the team. (rough translation).

Imo he seems to indicate that if Fuglsagn can get out of his contract he would like to sign him.

Riis also states that they expect to announce some new signings soon, "when they think the time is appropiate"

Lars Bak almost confirmed to Lotto. Quickstep says they wanted him, but he already made a contract with Lotto.

At OPQS he would just be a helper. At Lotto he can ride his own chance.

Louder is riding for UHC next season as well as Marc de Maar.

Figured this would happen. He can spend time at home with his family and do plenty of top US and Canadian races, and still race in either Europe/South America/Malaysia at the start of the year as well.

It's been an open secret that Castroviejo is going to Movistar, but nothing's been officially announced until now. He'll be a loss to EE if he is on form (unlike from June onwards when he CBF when he decided to go to Movistar) as they have lost a guy who can actually TT.
