He said that he had three offers from WT teams, plus one from Coldeportes. No way he'll go to Androni - he had a bad experience there in 2007.

If I was Duarte I would not be going to a pro cont team unless I was going to be given a leadership role in races. At Androni with Rujano there he would not get that for the Giro. Sella and Serpa would want leadership in some races as well.

he doesn't have an offer from androni and he will never even go back to savio, not even with a gun pointed at his head. he has offers from 3 wt teams and coldeportes

Steensen and Vandborg will leave Team Saxo Bank at the end of the season.

So either Roberts, against exspectations, prolongs his contract, or there is a spot still waiting to be filled. Thereby making up the team at a staggering 27 riders. Frightening in quantity and in qualety.

Should be alright with the two grand tour victories...

Contador`s team for next yrs tdf reminds me of the lord of the rings, of the nine set out to stop the evil you have contador (gandalf) Navarro (aragorn) CAS (Legolas) hernandez (Boromir), the rest are just some useless hobbits...

I like turtles.

Saxobank 2012 sadly looks like the equivalent to BMC 2011:

(Movie trailer voice):

"One man - One mission! Here's the follow-up to last seasons most heart-breaking drama:"

Contador playing the role as one-man army Cadel Evans. Is he capable?

Juan Jose Haedo as the ever-so-hyped Alex Kristoff.

Nuyens & Kroon takes the part as Ballan & Kroon (!)

Danes Juul Jensen, Vinther, Christensen & Lund brings relatively unnoticeable national blood, sweat and tears instead of Beyer, Barton, Butler & Murphy.

Experienced two-pronged Sørensen makes a more stagerace-oriented experienced helper team replacing the oneday-oriented Quinziato/Burghardt combo. Makes for more drama?

The "helpers that didn't help a lot" Navarro, Noval & Hernandez substitutes Moinard, Morabito & Tschopp.

Oh yeah, let's not forget "the old dude" Tossato vs. Hincapie.....

"BMC 2 - Coming to a cinema near you!!"

Who would the three WT teams be? Movistar would surely be one of them if they have the space.

Anyone's guess after Movistar. I'm gonna say Katusha and Rabobank. Maybe Lampre purely because they're bringin in Anacona.

I thought rabo might be more interested in this one too. They have a few spare spots too.

27 this season.
3 in, 3 out.

Of course I suspect they like to keep a couple spots open for next season (even tho it is likely a rider or two will leave). Marc Goos I suspect joins pro team in 2013. 2013 should be to soon for Daan Olivier, thats if he continues showing promise.

For those who may be interested, the following link gives a summary of rider transfers in the British peloton next year.

http://www.velouk.net/2011/10/25/news-the-mens-british-pro-peloton-in-2012/

Endura look even stronger next year. They've retained their key riders plus added three good young talents. The signing of Ian Bibby is very good.

Interesting change of direction for RCS. They seem to be targetting youth next year. It'll be interesting to see how Tim Kennaugh (younger brother of Peter) gets on.

Three really strong signings for Endura. Tiernan-Locke has long been rumoured to be going there too. Slow build towards Pro Conti next year looks good.

Rapha have stated they will be going even further down the youth development route in the next few years. Oliver Rossi one to watch. Aussie friend says Richard Lang has talent.
