Anyone's guess after Movistar. I'm gonna say Katusha and Rabobank. Maybe Lampre purely because they're bringin in Anacona.
I would guess Liquigas would be one, especially if they lose out on Betancourt.

Cheers, I was just about to ask where he was on the list. Are Endura looking to step up a division? They didn't seem to be on the list of applicants for 2012.

Rabobank have no shortage of climbers. And their roster is finalized already.

Although I like the idea of Duarte on Rabobank. Ryo would die in disgust.

Which is why this must happen.

He's the guy who used to ride for Columbia/HTC, right?

SBS could use him. But, alas, Riis is a poor bloke these days.

So going with 28 riders.. leaves room for Cobo, Menchov. ;)

Glad Jez Hunt is still going even if its as a water carrier but still a good rider particularly for the Spring races.

The only really disappointing departure for me is Cummings.

The 2012 squad looks very good but it's possibly a strong domestique or two light for me but I guess some of the younger riders on the squad will develop into that role.

I would have bracketed Gerrans with Cummings. Both riders who Sky would preferred to have kept but it's not exactly a disaster to have lost them, especially given who has come in.

Team Raleigh (British UCI Continental outfit) have signed Bernie Sulzberger from FlyV, Daniel Holloway from Kelly Benefit Strategy, Evan Oliphant from Endura plus a couple of young riders (Matt Holmes and Simon Holt).

Looks like they're targetting the crits next year with Sulzberger, Holloway and Graeme Briggs who they signed a couple of weeks ago.

Also a rumour that Mark Christian is leaving the GB Academy to ride for AnPost.

what is going on at christina watches?something big to happen?

Meanwhile the Christina Watches-Onfone team has had a big clearout of the riders who formed part of the lineup in 2011, with ten out of the sixteen signed a year ago not having their contracts renewed.

The team has indicated that Guytan Lilholt, Jacob Gyde Madsen, Mads Hardal, Jesper Odgaard Nielsen, Daniel Malmros, Daniel Vestergaard Andersen, Mads Moltke Steen, Marc Hester, Pelle Clapp and Philip Nielsen are all departing. .

lol

That leaves just six of the current riders as being set to continue, namely co-owner and captain Michael Rasmussen, the sprinter Angelo Furlan, as well as Michael Reihs, Rene Jorgensen, Martin Lind and Kristian Sobota.

Three new signings have been announced, meaning that just nine of the riders for next season are known at this point in time. Those coming on board include the talented Danish rider Rasmus Guldhammer (Team Concordia), Leopard-Trek’s Martin Pedersen and the young rider Alexander Kamp.

christina watches-geox fusion to come? :D

Flecha, Thomas, Hayman, Eisel, EBH, Stannard, Hunt, +1

Very solid cobbles team right there.

Well, Cobo and Menchov in Christina Watches would be favourable for their bid for a Giro wildcard in 2012.

Michael Barry? CJ Sutton? Ben Swift? Cav might ride as World Champion. Puccio and Rowe in a couple of years too.

You're right, they're going to have a very very strong cobbled classics team.

Some great options for MSR too.

Jury is out on the Ardennes classics squad.

The Dutch Colombian Slagter has extended with Rabo, until 2013.

Laengen is a very good signing. He is a rare combination of a climber, TTer and cobbled classics rider. His results don't exactly illustrate quite how good he is though, as he is the worst sprinter on the planet, but he's often the strongest rider in many of the races he enters.
U23 racing is strange that way. Matthews was 7th in the Tour de l'Avenir last year, I wouldn't call him a climber. But Laengen certainly seems to be fairly allround, I'm a bit surprised that he didn't get a contract at a slightly better team.
