Michielveedeebee said:Well Squinzi had the money + knew a lot about cycling

(but what is the average budget of cycling team these days?)

Dekker_Tifosi said:Total BS to compare him to Ricco. But I guess it's totally different when you know him personally like I do.
I'd have tons of arguments but you wouldn't want to accept any of them so I'm not gonna waiste any time on that.
Just saying you're REALLY far off comparing him to Ricco.
I think Dekker has been, certainly since he last revelations, been much fairer and much more up front about his past than for instance Ivan Bassoand I'm not even going to compare to Di Luca. He deserves at least as much credit as Basso did when he came back. Nothing like Ricco.
theyoungest said:I'm sure Ricco is nice to his friends as well. Maybe a better comparison would be Sinkewitz, who seems to be a very nice guy. But still a recidivist.
Dekker definitely got screwed, the only rider ever to be banned after retroactive testing, but to say he's been up front about it... well, yes he did admit it, I'll give you that.

when is leukemans contract up? That is a guy they don't wanna lose.
Cool! Don't know much about him, I'll admit, but he looks interesting. He won the prologue in Tour de Normandie and a hilly stage in Thüringen Rundfahrt (in front of already legends Kelderman and Le Bon) and adding the 4th overall in Olympia's Tour he seems like a versatile rider. And very young - from '91. It would be great with some new Swedish blood (ahem).ingsve said:Swedish talent Tobias Ludvigsson from Team Cykelcity will ride as a stagiaire for Skil Shimano this fall. He is set to ride at least Vuelta a Burgos and Tour of Colorado (which I guess is US Pro Cycling Challenge 2.1) with them.
Michele said:I would image that Haussler has his own ambitions and perhaps the departure of Hushovd would give him some more freedom.
Moondance said:He's admitted nothing. What he admitted to was that once, in depressed mood, somewhere in the off-season of 2007, he took a couple of hits of EPO, like a 15-year old might experiment with pot. At the same time he claimed that he was 100% clean for his victories and other good rides in the 2007-8 period, which is complete rubbish.
Outrageous amounts of bullshit if you ask me. He lied in the past and he's lying now. I have no time for this man, and my only interest is in seriously disliking him.

In other news, Marcel Kittel and Alexandre Geniez both re-sign with Skil-Shimano. Kittel is down to the end of 2013, and I'm assuming Geniez is too (seeing as though it doesn't say so in the article, or my lack of reading ability comes back to haunt me, whatever comes first).

Which is why I say you're totally BS-ing. The last year he has given several interviews and said he was doping for a long period. Finally went from "i'm the victim" to "I'm the idiot" in his mind, and finally did something about it.
I suggest you watch the documentary on monday.
To put it bluntly, you're about 2 years behind in news. To say it in Dutch, je mening is gebaseerd op dingen die allang achterhaald zijn. Volg het nieuws eens een keer.
