Bos has a very quick turn of speed. One of the quickest.
Unfortunately he still lacks in a lot of other areas to be considered a complete sprinter. Also I'm not convinced he can hold that turn of speed for very long either. Thus a decent train could be most useful for bos.

He is riding the Olympics on track, or no?

I think you're forgetting that there's a young Aussie sprinter at Rabo whom Renshaw might feel like helping out. Also, I don't think Renshaw is faster than Bos.

Did you even watch the race? He won it by getting a gap on the cobbles stage. I actually think he could be very good for Paris-Roubaix, but he doesn't care about that race.

His build suggest he could be decent on such terrain.
He seems to be more obsessed with hilly races / mountain races which clearly aren't natural to the guy.

No, on the road (he hopes). To make the switch back to track and again start winning against a hulk like Chris Hoy would be nothing short of a miracle.

Good. I remember reading something about his intent on the olympics and I thought it would be a shame to waste his time on he track again. I think he still could become a pretty decent sprinter.

Well, now that you mention it... he did get Worlds bronze on the madison this year together with Peter Schep, it might be worthwile to try and repeat that at the Olympics :)

But Rabo weren't really happy with his form after the track Worlds, he caught some kind of virus there which pretty much ruined his whole spring. So I don't know what they'll think of his Olympic track aspirations.

Thor's deal is 3 years so it doesn't look like he'll be heading up a Norwegian cycling project very soon. I'm sure he's putting together a retirement plan though.

We've seen Visconti plenty of times in the Ardennes, even when he was at smaller CT teams like Farnese in the Amstel Gold Race.

Every time he failed.
Those classics are too hard for him.

Why you didn't notice him, is because he finished 85th about eveyr time

Ah, BUT he could make a very good cog in a machine working for Valverde, if the entirely predictable happens.

If he's very lucky, he could get to play van Vleuten to Valverde's Vos.

Visconti is van Vleuten to Valverde's Vos. That's a lot of Vs.

Henderson to Lotto??

Looks like it is so. To be in the Greipel leadout trains. ****ed off with not getting no1 status at races and not going to GTs. I assume he won't be racing the Vuelta.

Confirmed here as well.

Can't say it's a shock, but now when BMC works like crazy to catch Cancellara, they have someone who might be able to finish the job :p

And if they get Gilbert, yikes!

Always think on the bright side, the more of a super power BMC become the less hate for the lepoards.

What was said? He appears to have an annoying tendency to *****..

he basically said that he wasnt happy being overlooked for races and was going to lotto and asked the person he was intending the message for not to say anything.

Im not posting the screengrab myself as greg intended it as private

I'm so happy for Thor! Best move possible.
Now, if Gilbert manages to extract himself from the Quickstep/Omega-Pharma merger, BMC will be quite top-heavy indeed come next classics season.

This is true...as long as the Schlecks aren't racing! :p

Still, BMC already had a good classics team this year, now they've got someone to finish it off at the end, even without Gilbert.
