Maybe so But I doubt he will make the 2012 team if everyone is fit - I was just bouncing around an idea.

Cummings is a class rider.

I've also read that he is a good man to have around for team morale etc in a team that's maybe a bit quiet and introspective. I'd be surprised to see him leave.

+1 and teams like Astana are going break the bank in order to secure a WT spot (with Froomes points).

Henao and Uran are unproven GC riders to date ;) And Froome will be definitely given a role as GC leader once next year at Sky if he stays at Giro for example. Henao would be a domestique for him. Then at the tour they take Brad, Rogers and Uran. I think there's laods of opportunites for him.

And they will keep him the fact he's British ;)

Wiggins will definitely lead at the Tour.

Doubt Sky would go into 2012 Giro with Henao as leader. Seems a little far-fetched for his first year. Maybe at the Vuelta, but I wouldn't expect it to be definite.

At this point Uran isn't a proven good enough GC rider that his presence should stop a team signing another.

I think you know how Sky would deal that issue should they keep Froome, and I don't think you like the answer.

I wouldn't think anybody expects Henao to be Sky leader's at Giro for example ? Vuelta maybe, but that's big maybe, depending how the acclimatizes in europe and type of results he will get. In second year, yeahh. He's a massive talent and is awesome rider, but he's yet to prove himself on the European PT Cycling stage.

Also taking him as leader, will defitnely increase pressure on him, which Sky said doesn't want on any of its young rider, definitely in his first year.

Despite his talent I'd be surprised if they gave him leadership roles in the big races immediately. Unless of course none of the other guys I don't wanna ride giro etc. Whch is possible I suppose.

I can't really count Henao and Uran as big GC guys, they are both yet to prove themselves. A 2nd place in Tour of Utah and a 24th place in TdF aren't enough to be big GC leaders in GC's. They can be big mountain domestiques tho

Agreements may have been made, but nothing was signed. Froome went into the vuelta with no contract for 2012 and he certainly wont have been signing contracts during the race.

If you knew both Froome and Cummings where leaving and going to the same team, you would surely have an idea of which team.

I dont know anything, just something I heard, but no teams mentioned. Personally I really like cummings and think he could do a good job at sky next year, but maybe he sees himself as something more than dragging back breaks for sky. As for froome has shown nothing till this vuelta, just hope this is a true indication of him and not because he was without a contract.

Chris Froome needs a new contract. Europcar needs a foreign leader, preferably one with a lot of World Tour points like, say, the 2nd place finisher of a Grand Tour. Put 2 and 2 together people.

He is very good mates with Wiggins and think he would have been on tour team if fit.
