If they want to get a WT licence they need the Geox money though. Sastre is leaving and I bet Menchov would too if they don't move up in status.

Diadora is part of Geox, no?

Yep

Sastra to announce Thursday where he will ride next year. It won't be Geox.

Who needs a climbing Dom?

BMC
Saxo
Garmin maybe
Greenedge as a KOM type.

Really can't see him anywhere to be honest

they wont get a WT license without Sastre/new big names signed, dont forget that Cobo brings 0 points from 2010. Menchov + Cobo=~200 points for the license ranking and they will need >500 for the top 15.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if he ends up in Skil. But my hopes are on a different type of surprise, aga french one :). Cofidis will certainly be adding couple of names and it would be a chance for Sastre to ride Le Tour atleast one more time.

BMC: don't see what they want from Sastre
Saxo and Garmin very, very unlikely as he left both teams ungraceful (ignore folding CTT).

Guess nr. 1: retirement
Guess nr. 2: 2nd or 3rd class spanish team

maybe not 2nd or 3rd class
but I guess it's a team with spanish speaking riders and staff (so no Skil at all)

Bored of it to now and I'm a Sky fan, just wish he would announce it so we can all move on.

Maybe he hasn't announced it because there's nothing to announce yet ?

My guess is that it will be announced when he has no more racing commitments with HTC. Not sure what the remainder of his race schedule looks like.

But has he signed ?

If not and if he was to win the Worlds that would presumably affect his market value - all bets could be off

Maybe Cav just hasn't informed them that they get the honour of signing him yet.

Reden dat Pozzato bij Europcar wordt genoemd, is dat Colnago (Italiaanse fietsensponsor Europcar) zijn salaris zou wil betalen.

i'm not so good in Dutch but this says that Pozzato's salary would (could?) be paid by Colnago if he joins Europcar

The reason Pozzato is linked to Europcar, is that Colnago (the Italian bikesponsor of Colnago) would be willing to pay for his salary.

Vacansoleil have signed Bert-Jan Lindeman and Barry Markus, both currently stagiaires for them. Lindeman is an allrounder, currently doing well in the Tour of Britain after a strong Tour of Denmark (except for the time trial). Markus is a pure sprinter.

Bernadeu looking for an additional leader for Europcar.

Any suggestions?

Pippo maybe, as JRB seems to have had interest in classics riders. Feillu would be good if he isn't contracted to Vacan, as he may overlap with Kenny Van Hummel next season. Flecha, if his contract were up.

[edit]Ah, tx.
