It will also be beneficial for a lot of the youngsters on MOT to have someone of his experience and Euro history to help them along - riders like Brenes, Angarita and Alarcón may well benefit from tips and advice.

I hope Freddy Montaña can make it to Europe one day. When Boyacá were continental a few years back he had some very good races, particularly in León and Asturias.

They're actually planning to extend their calendar in the future to Europe and have that in perspective, which explains the recruitment of Pasamontes and as well as Laguia as DS.

Who would've thought, one of Contador's gifts paid back after all. I'd like that, but won't happen probably. Would be good support for Contador at Tirreno-Adriatico though. And Riis would have someone for the Giro(stages and MC). And perhaps a domestique for Contador at Vuelta, but I think he's too old to handle 2 GTs in a season.

The rumour says after MSR so then Garzelli will still be riding by A&S at the time of the TA.

No it's not, in UCI terms one is considered a neo pro for two years so guys like Boaro and Majka are still counted as neo pro.

Boaro isnt neo since he only got a 1 year contract originally but then resigned a new 1 year deal in the end of 2011. But u are correct about Majka, so I reckon 1 slot is still open

Here is the cyclingnews.com version:

http://www.cyclingnews.com/news/garzelli-to-switch-to-saxo-bank-after-milan-san-remo

Bertie wanted Garzelli on the team. They were close in august, but the the end Garzelli went with A&S. I reckon that after A&S didnt get chosen for the Giro Garzelli regrets his decision, and probably A&S dont mind letting him go after San Remo since he was going to end his career after the Giro anyways.

PS: Gazzetta also reports that Riis was hunting Fuglsang (old news though)
