Dont think Theo will be a good lead out his positioning aint good

yeah, bos could benefit from a train himself (great turn of speed) but i'm not sure others will benefit from bos much

Hushovd tried to lead him out a couple of times in the Vuelta in 2010, but Bos always lost his position somehow. I mean when you have a huge guy like Hushovd knocking down everyone ahead of you and you still can't position yourself then you're definitely doing something wrong :p

Hushovd's leadout wasn't that great either... but I think Bos had been training on his climbing a little too much then. He got over the climbs no problem, but he lost all his speed.

Massive step down from PT, gutted for the bloke.

Probably bad from a racing perspective, but I know Dan is a big family man - and I think he turned down a DS role at WT level because of the travelling, so I guess in that respect it's great.

No doubt IG aren't short of a bob or two either, so if he's being paid well, even better.

Odd that Hammond hasn't got anywhere yet. Could've been a leader for a Belgian ProConti team, or helped Pozzato on that British team he rides for now :p

Reading betwwen the lines, I'm thinking he may be retiring. At the national 'cross champs the other week it was announced as his last ever cross race.

Shame if true.

Apparently he told JV that Sky had made him an offer and therefore JV logically assumed that he would sign for Sky and didn't bother offering him a new contract. Fail.

Just to clarify the above is about Dan Lloyd not Hammond

well if you are going to do it, may as well go the whole hog.
not sure of their chances of a grand tour invite with their current lineup

They cant get GT invitation coz they have only Continental license. But this will at least give Christina Watches chance to compete in some smaller races in Italy. Last year Rasumussen didint even have a chance to show if he can still climb well, expect Brixia Tour and Padania.

He also did the GP Norefjell in Norway but got dropped on the MTF by a bunch of Norwegian amateurs and finished about 1:30 behind Wilmann.

I think they're looking to go Pro Conti next year and go for invites for big races aren't they? I'm not sure how their current squad would stack up on the "ethics" front.

With Chicken's background I suppose it would be hypocritical of them for not being able to sign Rebellin if they got the chance (ie Rebellin brings in his own sponsor to pay his wages).

They are first in Europe Ranking; what kind of races can they enter thanks to that?
They are automatically invited to 2.2 and 1.2 races due to their ranking, but rely on invites to race 2.1, 1.1, 1.HC and 2.HC races. So essentially they could theoretically ride everything below world tour.

Never heard of that race, its some kind of amateur race isnt it ? Rasumussen finished fourth in Brixia Tour which is quite ok result i would say and show that he's still capable of climbing well.

Maybe they wil try to get ProConti but in 2013 Rasumussen will be 39 and Rebelin 42... I doubt they can get invitation to any WT races, not even mention GTs. Anyway i think ethics really count in getting WT license only.

Are you sure? Last year, they could only particpate in national .HC races. And that's Tour of Denmark.
