According to Rai's Radiocorsa;

-Andrea Guardini seems to be almost surely leaving Farnese Vini for Saxo Bank as it did a very big offer

-Kreuzinguer and Kiserlovski minght end to Saxo for help Contador
-Sascha Modolo wanna leave Colnago for go into a WT team and got an interesting offer from Astana

Riis would invest big money in a new sprinter? It don´t sound much like Riis...
But he is surely one of the upcoming stars, a good signing if its true.
Kreuziger I think are looking for a change, things not working out for him at Astana, so could also have some truth in it, gc leader in either the Giro or the Vuelta and a second card to play out in the tour, would love to see what level Riis can bring him up to. I hope it´s true.
Kiserlovski is just a wet dream, would be fantastic to sign.

Sascha Modolo looks ready to move on to a pro tour team, he´s surely showing form in Austria with another win today.

Have the top 3 Americans (Boswell, Craddock, and Dombrowski) on Bontrager-Livestrong been linked to anyone next year. The States are in desperate need of some new blood on the Pro Tour.

He is very, very good. Earlier this year he underwent through testing at the Mapei Sport Center and apparently impressed highly.

He hasn't raced much this season though. When he has, his primary function has been serving as a lead-out man to Rino Gasparrini or Andrea Dal Col. The two sprinters at Trevigiani.

He has an impressive physique, but in my opinion must slim down a little if he wants to really achieve success on the road. Completely different athlete to his cousin. Ignazio is built for cobblestones. He is OK fast as well!

Basically think Tom Boonen minus 10-15% top end speed.

-Peter Sagan got multiple offers from many teams like Omega Pharma with a 2.5 million contract
-Andrea Guardini seems to be almost surely leaving Farnese Vini for Saxo Bank as it did a very big offer
-Roberto Ferrari should replace Petacchi at Lampre
-Kreuzinguer and Kiserlovski minght end to Saxo for help Contador
-Sascha Modolo wanna leave Colnago for go into a WT team and got an interesting offer from Astana
-Bennati would leave Radioshack for go to Katusha as Freire's replacement
-Renshaw almost confirmed going back as Cav's leadout
-Ignazio Moser has been seen wearing BMC kit with some BMC guys during a ride on the route of Firenze's Worlds

Not surprised about Renshaw leaving. Didn't seem very happy with the lack of support he has been given at the Tour and he seems to not have the speed required to contend with the best sprinters. I think he found that out the hard way this year. :(

Riis would prbably be an awesome mentor for Gurdini if that happens. 4 + sprint stages in the giro next year for sure :D

I would love this. Guardini is one of my favorite sprinters :)

Yep, Guardini the new king of "**** small races", taking his second stage at Qinghai Lake today. I think under Riis he can take the next BIG step forward. (1 stage in Giro is not a BIG step, in my eyes, I'm talking sprint domination at the Giro kinda step)

I think it is always worth talking about the riders who should be moving up to World Tour next year. (In no particular order)

Some of them may become WT anyways, (SS could be promoted, it is currently the best Pro Cont team I think)

1. FERRARI Roberto
2. COPPEL Jérôme (I think he would do better at FDJ than SS)
3. ROLLAND Pierre
4. FAVILLI Elia
5. RABOTTINI Matteo
6. GUARDINI Andrea
7. MODOLO Sacha
8. BATTAGLIN Enrico
9. BRÄNDLE Matthias
10. BETANCUR GOMEZ Carlos Alberto
11. TIERNAN-LOCKE Jonathan
12. PLIUSCHIN Alexandre
13. JUNGELS Bob
14. LUTSENKO Alexey
15. HOFLAND Moreno
16. DENNIS Rohan
17. SHALUNOV Evgeny
18. BELTRAN SUAREZ Eduard Alexander
19. VAN POPPEL Boy
20. GENIEZ Alexandre

The Haedo Bros could veery well be history at Saxo Bank. There are no contract negotiations. They wanna stay but Riis says it depends how the team will look and whether there is rooms or not (if the rumour regardiung Guardini is true that might seal it I reckon):

http://translate.google.com/transla...trabladet.dk/sport/cykling/article1789901.ece

Also Saxo Bank states that they are willing to give more money if there are possible riders that require a larger budget. They said the same thing last year but nothing happened. I reckon they might refer to riders big stars like Fabian etc. Riis says he is negotiating with different riders

http://translate.google.com/transla.../Sporten/Tour_de_France/2012/07/10/220041.htm

Riis is frustrated that UCI is stalling his request to take the case regarding Contadors points to CAS. He says that if UCI gets their way they will stall it till November where licences are already distrubuted to teams. He says he has a theory why they are doing it but he wont say it in public.

http://translate.google.com/transla...ds-posten.dk/sport/cykling/article4775979.ece

In a different article Riis admits that he might be forced to buy riders with points who he dont really need (dont have link since its a few weeks old)

Mørkov and Chris Sørensen are negotiating with Riis and are expected to prolong with the team

The future of the Haedo brothers one would assume will be dependent on who else Riis and bring in, hope Morkov & CAS are staying and I actually like the idea of Fuglsang at OPQS but I wonder if this is in preference to kreuziger or as well as?_?

Actually the rumor about Guardini could very well be true, he earned quite a lot of pro tour points that Riis needs and he´s surely a man for the future.

Regarding Fuglsang, I wouldn´t be sorry if he signed with another team than Saxo, and replace him with Kreuziger and kiserlovski.

A big difference for Riis this season is, that he can go and negotiate contracts during the tour, well knowing he got the funds and the financial backup to close them. That´s probably why we didn´t see the big signings last year, course Riis didn´t have the same possibilities then as he do now.

I surely hope it´s over and done with regarding the Haedo brothers, they are just not good enough. I guess we wont hear rumors about Ran getting a new 3 year contract either...:p

I feel sorry for the Saxoboys that are bound to end up on the street, they are all very dear to me.

Yes, but maybe you shouldn´t feel so sad about it after all flo, just look at Lars Bak, Riis couldn´t use him for the tour team, course they had another agenda that didn´t suit his caracter as a rider, and today he´s one of the top 3 domistics in the world course another team could use his full potential.

Look at André Steensen, joined back with the Glud & Marstand LRØ team, and already got 3 UCI vitories this season, he regained his motivation and now want´s back to the WT. Maybe even with Riis, though I doubt Riis want him back, but we will see.

In my opinion, riders like Ran and Noval don´t belong on the pro tour so infact he might do them a favor.

I would like for JJ to stay at Saxobank- he did win a sprint stage in a GT last year- he just needs a better train.

Does anyone know if CJ Suttons' contract ends soon at Sky? I hope so because he had a breakout season last year and now he is doing nothing.

Also Bjorn Leukemans? He is getting older but he is a good solid rider and strong in many races.

He wont get a better train at SBTB, especially not with Contador back. So it will be better for him to find another team imo.

Btw the string he won in the Vuelta last year was only cos alot of his rivals took a detour

Is Guadini a type who can manage himself in sprints like fx McEwen or does he need a train? Imo to be a successful sprinter at SBTB u need to be able manage yourself more or less
