Ye as said he might want a much more free role than the team can offer him. But thats all speculation on my part.

Riis fuming over pointsystem. He says he has contracted several riders but to avoid what happened to Fuglsang he will not make it official. He things the point system isnt working and suggests that the team and rider shares the points 50/50 same things I suggested a few days ago ). He is not the only one being unhappy about it and thay have adressed UCI about it, but without luck. He doesnt think the system will last in the long run though.

I was just thinking that a lot of contracted riders are withholding announcing their new teams as late as possible to avoid being Fuglsanged. UCI needs to revisit this points system in the off-season. At a minimum it needs tweaking, if not outright scrapping (I understand what they wanted to do (create the impression of objectivity in WT licensing)).

Either would be good! Argos are centered around Kittel & Degenkolb. Just look at Geniez, good rider, not allowed to do anything. Garmin have some young talent already, but the more the merrier
