Mørkøv three more years for Saxo.
Straight from the horse, errr, swan's own mouth:

He's feeling the preassure of age coming up... :p

Riis is keeping his cards close to his chest to avoid riders not being allowed to race. Saxo will be fine.

Didn't see that one coming!

Apparently he's not holding many high value cards. Name after name rumored to be joining Saxo is announcing signings with other teams.

Kišerlovski for Fuglsang....or may be the his motive for leaving Astana.
The desmise of RSNT is a fable, Bruyneel may go, but the money stays as the sport never says no to that.

Since he wants to ride the Giro, presumably as a leader, a more obvious motive may be that Nibali joins Astana.

Who on earth would sign with RSN unless it´s the money talking.
JB already showed very clearly he don´t give a rats assss about promises and what deals been made if it suits him to do otherwise.

Kiserlovski you a f... up!

And Riis? He´s running out of subjects, I guess he don´t have the funds to attract the necessary helpers.
I wouldn´t be atleast surprised if Kreuziger also turned him down.

Interesting ... he had been linked to them under "rumours" on the Swiss website that has all transfers listed but I was sceptical!

I guess the team really does go on next year ... and judging by what Bruyneel said in his latest interview he has had enough of mergers for a while so I doubt they will merge with Liquigas as has been rumoured.

Riders go where the $$$ resp. €€€ resp. £££££££££££ are ... and RadioShack pays pretty well, Bakelants candidly admitted it last year. Provided that it arrives on time!! :D

Plus I don't think it's a bad team per se, they have good riders and seem to have a good ambiance between them ... they just need to get their sh*t in order

I don´t hate shack, I dislike JB like the plauge, has nothing to do with the riders or the team, other than it runs like shyt, and why would anybody jump on that boat if its not for the money. Simple as that, just common sense.

i think you must notice that the pro riders see their world in a different way compared to us fans and forum members.
they do not know about the way we follow cycling, they don't care. they don't nice guys and bad guys like we do. kiserlovsky, jens, etc, don't give a s... about bruyneel's past or problems.

they don't see radioshack as a boat :) and they pedal and race, because it is their job, so money is quite important

Fuglsang had a contract and the teams merged. Sure, Bruyneel could have offloaded him, but it wasn't exactly a trade nor would not having Fuglsang on the team make Brajkovic likely to be a GT captain.

Signing Kiserlovski with an implied Giro leadership may mean that more GC riders are leaving.

Riis about Bennati and Kreuziger:

"The only thing I can say is that there has not yet been signed any contracts with the two"

He also confirms that Nuyens is leaving:

"I am sorry to say goodbye to Nick, but such are the conditions now again," adds Bjarne Riis on experienced Nuyens.

"I would have liked to keep him, even if he is because of his crash in Paris-Nice first came very late in the season and the missed all the classics, he has in many ways been a strong asset to the squad '

Could seem as if alot of riders who have been linked with Riis keep their options open to see if other options which pay better comes along maybe. He has always been slow (and sometimes too slow) to finalize negotiations

EDIT: Mørkøv says that he cannot imagine that Riis will not get a new caption for the cobbles and that he (Mørkøv) personally would like to see Breschel returning

I think speaking in general terms about Riis like that is foolish, when you look at the team he built in the CSC "peak" years when he had money to spend. It's only recently with the Contador saga that his hands have been tied

His hands are not really that tied any longer. Also I remember Bartoli was signed pretty late in the season (at the Worlds). Riis just has at habbit of signing (or at least annoucing) new riders rather late

On the one hand it can be smart, cos that allows u to pick up some riders relatively cheap. But the risk is that they sign elsewhere. But as I have stated earlier I am confident that Riis will put together a strong team next year and I am sure he has everything more or less sorted regarding points to stay in the protour.

Dan Martin has resigned with Garmin, according to Daniel Benson on the live Vuelta feed.

Main news page hints heavily that JTL is indeed bound for Sky having signed a letter of intent.

More widely it mentions that Endura has failed to get enough funds to head up to ProConti status and is set to merge with a 'secondary team took part in its first Grand Tour earlier this spring'. That's got to be NetApp, right?

Brajkovic also had a contract IIRC and initially he was announced as part of the new merged team but then was let go
