I think Argos are trying to sign some proper climbers for next year. And they have also some young riders who are supposed to be good climbers in the future.

I've read that they're interested in Stetina. The fact they're completely invisible in mountain this year doesn't mean they can't be a good option for some climbers for next year.
But why would Ten Dam want to ride for them? He has a team dedicated to GC now, he can go for his own chances. Yes, maybe Barguil and Olivier will turn out to be decent support for him in 2 or 3 years time, but by then Ten Dam will be oooold.

Right now the best climber they have is Tom Dumoulin. Who isn't a climber.

i dont know if any team will be really interested in wiggins. He has too much money and is no longer interested in racing. ******.

btw, any news about where the schleck brothers can go?

They'll most probably stay with Trek if we are to belive the news.

A move to Argos doesn't suit either them or Ten-Dam I think.

But then again OPQS are signing Uran , and Lotto have Jurgen Van Den Broek so that'll be 1 'big' GC man each between the 3 big sprint teams. (Possibly 2 if you count Kwiatkowski for OPQS...)

Lefevre announced that Uran and Petacchi are signing at OPQS next year!

Uran is a potential GC winner. Good deal for OPQS.

He isn't. However he's a great rider to have, potentially he can podium a GT as he did in Giro at best.

However he could be a big classic winner for sure.

Renshaw I guess will also be confirmed soon!

Petacchi, Renshaw, Trentin, Steegmans - next year Cav's train could be the one to finally come close to HTC if they practice well in winter.

Fränk Schleck isn't a doper. He was poisoned 😛

No, that rumour is certainly bullsh.t.

Why do they need Petacchi anyway? Argos use either Tom Veelers or Koen de Kort as a leadout, Renshaw is faster than both of them.

If Cav has his hands full with Kittel and is already having to diversify, I don't see the point of spending €€€ to improve a very adequate train.

I think it's quite clear Cavendish is not on the top of his game here, probably because of the Giro. That said, Kittel clearly is the best he has had to cope with over the years.

Big call, a GC rider at 26 will never do any better. Unless you are saying at OPQS he'll do no better which is obvious given their track record on GC.

Speaking of OPQS Golas and Kwiatkowski's contract end this year. They signed on for 2012 and 2013.

Riders returning from retirement, has such a bad connotation doesn't it? Will he out last or even fulfill his 14 month contract?

Sky have previous interest in Kwiatkowski.

Kwiatkowski extended for two more years in April.

Thank God, would hate seeing him waste his talent and further development riding in stage races as dom for the Dawg.
