Belkin have bought off Lulu Sanchez, according to the Telegraaf, so he's on the market as well. Could be a nice replacement for Rui Costa...

Wow, you can really tell he still wants to race, every time he changes teams it gets worse. Then we have other riders complaining they can't find a team, looks like those who really want to continue do and those that want a cushy job won't.

why do you think it gets worse? That team will definitely not come in financial trouble too soon and they should be able to secure him a decent race calendar all over Asia

EUROPCAR

they really want to get WT, and not to be blamed for a poor Giro

They will send Kern to the Giro...

All of those are good options for him, if Cannondale is a choice it still means that Basso's future is uncertain (probably just a matter of how much of a cut he has to take).

Seems like the logical next step for Ludvigsson. Haugaard had the potential to go pro, but it's gotta be difficult right now. Glad he found a new team though with good prospects

Jan Hirt to Eitxx-Ihned. He also had the potential to go pro I think, good thing he at least found a feeder team. Especially OPQS should be happy to get another Czech rider at some point

Indeed. Good rider though and replaces Slagter in some ways.
Yes. Probably cheaper too (since Slagter indicated he left for the money).

It's surprising in the sense that Rabo have never had a Frenchman in their team, AFAIK.

Quite a few quality rides will do like Hivert and end up signing very cheap 1 year contracts to avoid unemployment and a possible end to their career, with the hope of getting a better deal in a bette climate next year.

Yes, that's what I meant too. Can't remember a Frenchie on that team before.

Can't see anything surprising in that transfer. Hivert is a very good and stable rider and available on the market probably at a good "price".

Also Belkin operates in France.

It is surprising, because a couple of days ago Hivert was close to signing to 'a french squad', as he put it into words.

Contrast the model with De Gendts'. He went -80%.

Some good riders leaving Europcar and nobody of note joining

Does boots cost as much as half of Sojasun and they can't make up their mind?
