Zepuntke says he will be pro next year and Bora seems the obvious choice

If Trek does not sign one of the nice young riders from Bissell, then I think heads need to roll. Terrible season, other than Fabian being solid, and JA winning the mountains at the Giro, what a waste of a season. I am not a fan of Luca or Kim Anderson. And correct me if I am wrong, but didn't the lead trainer for Trek come from EUSKALTEL - EUSKADI, who was known to have terrible training programs?

IMO, Zupuntke, Chevrier and maybe Eastman should be signed. Trek already **** the bed on not picking up Rosskopf.

Has anyone heard any Trek rumors? I have not at all, and they have 16 riders signed for next year.

McLay is similar to Fenn and Blythe. Cobbles, crosswinds, sprints. A bit less of an all-rounder than Rowe.

Of the British youngsters I know they rate Owain Doull highly, but I'm not sure they rate either he or McLay highly enough to sign for next year.

If there are 2 more incoming my guess is Viviani and a non-British u23.

Thanks for that.

I don't suppose you know what's up with Josh Edmondson by any chance?

Doull has talent but I don't think he is ready for WT yet. He needs more road racing first and An Post is a good place to season him. Good calendar, a mostly free role and they seem good at moving guys on.

Not a thing I'm afraid. Always concerning when someone disappears off the map for a couple of months, hopefully it's just a minor injury that also stops him from typing.

Roche finished 5th in his last outing as a gt leader in the 2013 vuelta thats a pretty good ride if you ask me. Top 5 is a contender in my book, granted he will not win one but to be honest at this moment in time there are only 4 guys out there that can win one.

True but Pozzovivo and Pinot were better in the climbs, they just got caught out in echelons. I know his position was great and all, just stating that's the main reason.

IMO no Giro for Konig.

Konig to lead SKY in California > Help Froome in TDF > back to US as leader in Colorado & Utah > Hunt stages or GC in Vuelta

Sky does not race Utah, and Colorado and Vuelta overlap

he can go for Paris-Nice Catalunya California then Tour to help Froome and Vuelta as co captain with Roche? Henao?
Porte will be important until the Tour, then he'll sign elsewhere, so no important role at the Vuelta or no ride at the Vuelta

Many quality riders leaving Europcar...And I don't see anyone coming in, besides neo-pros.

Who else leaves Europcar?

They still have Voeckler and Sicard
